CalmSky privacy notice

CalmSky is a fear-of-flying program made by AppStudio Australia Pty Ltd. This site introduces the program, sells a one-year subscription to it, and runs the program for members at calmskyapp.com/app. This notice says what we collect when you visit, when you buy and when you use the program, and what we do with it. Some of it is about your health: our consumer health data policy covers that part in full.

What we collect

• Your answers during the preview: the flight triggers you pick and the comfort ratings you give after each clip. They stay in your browser until you press pay, then go with your payment so the program can start where you are. If you never press pay, we don't keep them. See the consumer health data policy.
• When you buy: your email address, the amount and date, which payment method type you used (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link) and your country. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes straight from Stripe's secure fields to Stripe; we never see or store it. Stripe keeps your payment method so your subscription can renew, and emails you a receipt for every charge. Stripe's own use of your data is covered by Stripe's privacy policy.
• Your account: when you buy, we make you a CalmSky account with the email you paid with, so you can sign in to your flights. To sign in you ask for a 6-digit code, which we email you (sent through Resend). Your account lives with Supabase, our database provider, in the United States.
• Your progress in the program, only if you say yes when the app asks: how each moment of a flight felt, the parts of flying that get to you, and which flights and parts you have done. It is saved to your account so you can see your progress and so we can choose your next flight. You can stop at any time in the app's menu. The consumer health data policy covers it in full.
• In the app, a sign-in cookie and your browser's storage: one cookie keeps you signed in to your flights (it holds a signed code, not your email, and lasts up to 400 days), and your browser keeps your place in the flight and anything not yet saved to your account. The app has no analytics or advertising tags.
• Your email address before you buy, only if you typed it in during the earlier early-access sign-up (that screen ran until 28 September 2026).
• Anonymous usage statistics on this site (not in the app) via Plausible Analytics, including which flight triggers people pick in the preview, that a purchase happened and its value. Plausible uses no cookies and does not store personal data. See Plausible's data policy.
• Advertising measurement via the Meta Pixel and the Google Ads tag, which tell Meta or Google that someone who clicked our ad reached this site, which steps they completed, and whether they bought. Both set cookies for this. They never receive your answers, your triggers or anything you do in the app. If you arrived from an ad we keep its click identifier with your purchase for up to 90 days so we can tell which ads led to real customers, and a hashed (unreadable) form of your email is sent to Meta and Google to match the purchase to the ad. Their use of that data is covered by Meta's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy.

How we use it

To run your subscription (charge it, renew it, refund it, cancel it), to sign you in and run your program, to send you the emails that go with it (sign-in codes, receipts, a reminder before each renewal, the welcome and program emails), to answer you when you write to us, and to measure which ads work. We do not sell your data, and your health data is never used for advertising.

Where it lives

Your account and your progress are stored with Supabase in the United States. Purchase records and email addresses are also stored in a Cloudflare database. Payment details live with Stripe. The site and the app are served through Cloudflare. If you write to us, your email is kept in our Zoho mailbox.

Your choices

You can update your card, download receipts and cancel on your billing page. In the app's menu you can stop saving your progress at any time. Email [email protected] to have your data removed, to ask what we hold about you, or for a refund under the 30-day guarantee. Your rights over your health data, and how we answer, are set out in the consumer health data policy.
